Silly Snow, It's Spring!

I wish it would all melt, or at least stop snowing. But that isn't in the forecast. I know it is good for the rivers and fish, I just feel trapped in my house, sun shining and 45 degrees outside. Everywhere else people are running, rafting, relaxing outside, but not here. I'm getting a little cabin fever even though I work outside all week long, I don't want to leave the house when I am home. OK, I'm done. Thanks for being there.

Out with the In

My inside job is out the door for the rest of the summer. This marks springs arrival, even with all the snow still on the ground. Now I will be working hard to get the expansion of the ski area ready for next season.

Also this summer, I hopefully will do a little vacationing out of state, spend some time on our lovely rivers and live simply. (and visit all my friends I never get to see!)

I'll try and keep you all posted on the wonderful things I do!

Holy cow! I know all you people were waiting patiently for me to remember all my login and passwords so that I could post my current events. Well, wait no more! Coming soon! Thanks, y'all. (I'll try not to forget again)

Remember when...

I could remember my login for blogger, let alone how to make this thing go. Well, it can't be that hard.

Yesterday I went for a hike up a little ridge just out of town. It has a couple steep parts and last week when I did it I was completely sore the next day. Which made me realize just now that I am not sore this time, woohoo.



It was a beautiful day and wasn't that windy either, which is a plus for Eburg.

Pi also made a new friend, Anni. I was a little concerned at first because sometimes Pi doesn't get along with just any dog. But I think she reminded him of her old friend Nannet. They had a lot of fun times together.





Annie belongs to my friend Sue, who drove. Sue is very inspiring when it comes to hiking.
Anyway, I'm going to try and blog more to keep people up-to-date with what's going on since I am such a bad emailer.

Round Robin

Finally got around to finishing my border on the round robin. It is bitter cold here, not supposed to get about freezing this whole week. Yippie.

Crafty shiz-knit

Just thought I would let anyone interested in my goings on, what's going on.
I finished another felted bag. I think it's really cool. I put a pocket inside so you don't lose things like keys or phones in the bottom.




Also, I was on a fuzzy flannel blanket kick and finished two more.
My sister and I had a table at a christmas bazar thingo to try and sell some christmas ornaments and my other crafty stuff. However, there wasn't much of a turn out, but we did break even on the cost of the table.

I have yet to start or finish my border on the most recent round robin, though I think I have decided what I kinda want to do. Which is my biggest battle, if I haven't said before.

Keep on Truckin'

The quilt top is offically done (as much as I am going to do on it). Now I will pass it off to my mother who will put some nice stitching around the not so appliqued trucks in the middle and add my Nephew's name to the blank blue space, sandwich, quilt of some sort, and bind off. Hopefully it will be done in time for Christmas.



Not my best work but the fabric was hard to work with and it made my brain hurt to try and figure out how to make it fit together.
