Under Construction!

I almost finished the main part of the Truck quilt. So it would have only took two days if I hadn't put two months inbetween those days. All I have left are the trucks in the center, not sure if I am going to follow thru with the applique. I think I might cheat and wonder under/blanket stick them on.



I am going to put one more border around. It was amazing how much troble I was having with seam allowances and trying to figure out how big things should be. I think I was making it harder than it should have been, subtracting things out just to add them back in later.

Also, after visiting Brit this weekend for our fabric yard sale and running on sunday I am finally running more. So yesterdays run in Longview was 4 miles and 50 minutes. I really enjoyed running with other people. It never happens in Eburg. It is nice to listen to them talk, 'cause if I attempted to talk I think I would pass out right then and there. But running with those two was great! However after the first half I had to run at my own pace or I don't think I would have finished.

Tonights run, waiting till it started to cool off was alright. 2.8 miles, 30 min. I really pushed myself the last .75 mile just to see if I could and what it was. It averaged 9.5 mph. Not great but not bad. Definately something to improve on.

So that is that. I hope to keep you posted and maybe I should look at the training schedule to see how far I am behind.
