Weekend update (even though it is Wednesday)
So ya, in case you didn't hear from Keith, we had a pretty productive weekend. We babysat a friends dog on Saturday while he escaped from all the rodeo fans to go to a wedding in Walla Walla. Coleman is still very much a puppy and loves chickens, and pi's dog food. Why is it that dogs always like other dogs dog food more than there own?
Any how, we left the two dogs inside while we were at the fair. Amazingly enough, when we came back home, Coleman had managed to pull about 5 separate things from each room of the house into the living room and also spread the contense of the bathroom garbage can all over the floor. The amazing part of it was that nothing had been destroyed, just re-arranged.

So, no harm done.
We spend Friday night at a friends house who's family was out of town. Keith is going to do some yard work for him. Scott built a straw bale house and is just a super cool person. Anyway, we ended up playing two hours of Mario cart after that. It was like a blast from the past. Totally staring at the TV screen till my thumb hurt, slightly addicting. Crazy.
I have a new, (not really) project to do. Actually, it is just something I need to do before I can work on any project. And that would be to clean off/up my sewing table. Our cat, Zug, has decided that it is very comfortable on a chunk of batting.

And just a picture of the jam we made. Huckleberry and plum. Yum.

Keith, my editor isn't around so I am sorry if there are any fragment sentences, misplaces commas, spelling errors, and what not that I didn't catch. He usually reads them over my shoulder and corrects me as I go. Someday I WILL learn English.
The fair was great. I went three days. Two of them I spent spinning, and it is quite addicting. What is another craft to add to the list? Well, it is a bit spending to get a nice wheel so, we'll see what the future brings.
This month I am working nights, so I get home around 2 a.m. and sleep in till 10 or so. It feels slightly weird, like you don't have a job because your home during the day. But then again not. This week we are night snorkeling for bull trout. The water temperature is about 5 Celsius. You don't really snorkle at all because most of the time you are only in 6 inches of water. So basically you crawl your way upstream, over rocks, doing pushups. I thought this was hard last year when I was in shape. When I was finished last night my arms were numb and sore. Thank goodness I only have one more day of that.
Looking forward to quilting this weekend. See some of your there.

Stop....showing...off....
My wife is kick ass. Though knowing what we did do this weekend, I cringe at what some of her sentences actually are saying.
Bull trout snorkeling is for all stars. She's an all star. And I think this is one of her best posts yet.
